After talking to Mr Goodwin about the idea ive decided to share it with yous. its not something for me, its a film contest.
Yep a FILM CONTEST!!!
I was thinking about organising it for sometime next term however not very much thought has been put into it yet. heres just some basic stuff to give ya an idea
- Films should go for around 3-7 minutes (not 20 minutes JOSH!!!!!!!!)
- All shooting and editing will be done over ONE (1) SCHOOL week. thats 5 days.
- Entrants will be given a topic or phrase and MUST include it in the film somewhere.
- At the moment it will just be our class taking part but who knows what will happen in the future.
So yer, this is just an idea, so if your a budding young director and wanna show what you've got, leave a comment down below.
Oh yes and Goodwin is allowed to enter, so think of the satisfaction if you beat him :)

Just a quick correction, obviously filming cant be done on the weekend so thats where the one school week rule comes into, however editing may be done over the weekend. so for instance if we started on a monday we would show the films on the following monday

HAHA you wish Goodwin, hoefully we'll get a panel of Judges (teachers). NOT!!! Goodwin if he enters, if he chooses not (which he will :) ) then he can help judge but prob teachers like Ms Merideth and Mr Edmunds, basically english teachers, not Ms Munzenburger, she hates all my films haha

ReplyDeleteCool,just another midification, the film would only have to go for abut 2 - 4 minutes, unless the time frame was extened, but if it stayed at a week no one could possibly make a 7 minut film
