As a result of all our efforts at st mary's i think we should make recommendations (for goodwins future students) and goodwin on what would have helped a bit more when the 10seys make the transition... Just an idea dnt shoot me down
Luke, that paragraph made almost no sense, but i shall do my best to comment. I think that goodwin should have made us do more pointless film reviews to get us into the rut of rigourous repeativeness and make us realise just what it means to do extension english.
I think that as an English class we did everything we needed to do to prepare for year 11. Because when you consider that teachers are teaching from a curriculum there isnt much you can really change.
I would like to thank Mr Goodwin though and the whole English faculty for pushing us to write essays, expositions and editorials. Come to think of it, Geography did a lot as well. But as we know HSC English is very much a bunch of essays, and Saint Peters didnt o essays and have to catch up. However we are well expeirienced in writing analytical responses.
Great idea!!! So is it just me luke, or do u "dislike" our current teacher?? We need mr goodwin to come here and teach us!!
