Post

While picking up my school certificate i was instructed by a certain english teacher to post a blog on this particular site. So here it is.

So how have holidays been for everyond (besides Goodwin)? And do you think we should have finished so early because i've heard they're stoping that soon.

Also, Merry Christmas to all And to all a good night

Amy

  2. Of course it's good!

What else would we do, sit at school and watch the brilliance of the library's collection of movies from the early 1900's ?

  3. The holidays are only good if you're not poor (I'm poor).

  4. I agree with the library comment. But honestly, i wouldnt have minded doing year 11 work.

  5. Doing year 11 work or doing nothing......i know what i'd choose

    ReplyDelete
  6. But doing nothing starts to get boring

    ReplyDelete
  7. I agree with Amy. I'm so bored that I'm posting unnecessary comments.

  8. I made it clear to my students in 7, 8 and 9 that if they come to class, I will make them work. I have not shown a single video or used a 'token' computer room lesson (like some other teachers I know, but I will not name names... May is a lovely month, isn't it...?)

As a result, very few students have decided to come to school. I like to think this is my doing.

  9. Yeah, but then those who are forced to go to school by the parental guardians are punished for no reason. In the long run, some would call you the devil...

    ReplyDelete
  10. hahahaha. Well congratulations on that. And i don't really like the month May.

But i think its better that you're actually teaching something. I used to get sick of movies.

  11. Lol Amy. I want to go to year 11 like tomorrow, seriously. I think it gets worse day by day at home. Cleaning, cleaning arhh.

    ReplyDelete
  12. God it's a hard life being a teenage guy. Sitting at home, watching tv, playing playstation and swimming. I'd give that up any day to attend school :S

OH so NOW you decide to actually work rather than just watching movie after movie after movie... (*Cough cough* religion.......)

BTW, Marie if you need a change you can come clean my room... im grounded til its done....

  14. Well jeff, i can see what you mean, life is so tough on you. But honestly i would give all that up to attned school. Because, i don't like swimming, i've never played on a playstation and couldnt be bothered to and when you're watching tv all the time you figure out that everything just geets repeated.

  15. Then Amy, what you do is, you go down to video ezy or blockbuster or whatever, and you take advantage of their deals, and you rent every single movie that catches you attention in a positive way. Boredom problem solved.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Not if you don't have any money...

    ReplyDelete
  17. Like I said, they have really good deals. For way of instance, at video ezy, you can get 5 weeklys for 7 or 8 dollars. Now if you do that, they then give you a voucher, for 5 more movies, for 5 or 6 dollars I think. That's ten movies for 12 dollars right there.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I only have $3 and I can't get to Video Ezy unless I catch a bus which will cost me about $3. That means once I get to Video Ezy, I won't have any money to spend and I'll have no way of getting home.

Regardless of that, I want to go to school already.

  19. hahaha. Yes i agree steffie, and i suppose josh is right. But i solved my bordom problems. I have 18 songs to learn on piano.

    ReplyDelete
  20. So, Amy, by solved do you really mean increased?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Good to see you grounded, AlyGurl. I'd have grounded you after that "video after video" comment. Very unfair! I'll have you know that I did not have any say in the Religion program. I had to teach what they told me to. I believe strongly that your 'other' Religion teacher this year showed FAR TOO MANY videos -- bet you didn't think a film nerd like me would be saying that, did you?

By the way, I agree with Josh's plan of cheap weekly video rentals. Now is the time to watch absolutely everything you can get your hands on. You'll be surprised how educational this can be for your senior years.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yes. Education was the reason behind my suggestion too...

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yes i do agree with the educational value, and i have been watching a ton of movies these holidays.

And no Josh, i have not increased my bordom by finding sheet music to various awesome songs. Its entertaining, time filling, and feels excelent when you've learnt a song.

  24. To be honest Goodwin this year i did the bes ti have ever done in religion (96% :P) now, i put this down to a lot of things, having you as a 2nd teacher, watching SOME movies that had relevance and when your stuck in a class full of dero's you try to shut them out by actually working...anyway my point is that the movies wern't overkill, they were good :)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Well Mr Goodwin if you think Video Ezy videos are educational you forgot to consider the Australian financial press which i read every week!!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Good for you, Marie! Now tell me how to make more money.

    Just kidding.

No really, how do I make more money?

    Just kidding... I guess.

  27. quit your job at St joey's now that we are gone, and pursue your Film making dreams haha, after you've spent about 2 years away from joey's and made about 30 bucks you can return.

    ReplyDelete
  28. how exactly does that earn him more money? :s

    ReplyDelete
  29. It gives him more eperience in the world, which will make him richer in experience.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I'd also like to ad, that while video ezy does still have some good deals, if your serious about movie binging this christmas, you have to make your way down to JBHIFI. So many movies... :)

    ReplyDelete
  31. ever noticed JB is ALWAYS busy?

    It's crazal.

    ReplyDelete
  32. it's always busy because eveyone knows they have awesome things.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Ebay is the ultimate alternative... lol

    ReplyDelete
  34. not when your buying stuff from Hong Kong :@ im still waiting for my microphone!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I need a mic...but that has nothing to do with the conversation

    ReplyDelete
  36. Only buy from Australia then!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. MY GRANDPA IS IN HONG KONG!. :) I haven't seen him in ages. :(

    ReplyDelete
  38. So what your saying is... Your grandpa is the one who's responsible for Jeff's microphone taking so long to arrive? That Bastard! Or should I say... Inglourious Basterds. Own it now on dvd or blu-ray. God I love seg-ways!

    ReplyDelete
  39. MY MICROPHONE ARRIVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  40. 1. Congrats Jeff
    2. Josh, what the hell?
    3. Ok Shelly. You should go over there some time :p

    ReplyDelete
  41. Everything pieces together like a puzzle, it's all too convinient...

    ReplyDelete
  42. Um, no it isn't. This conversation just proves how STUPID and BORED everyone must be. I have been away for the last week, so my boredom problems are solved. BUT, now i must pay the price and i will probabaly STILL be sick over christmas :(

    ReplyDelete
  43. That sucks, and yes, when i posted this blog i was really bored and didnt actually expect anyone to comment, but glad to have began fights and had a place for people to share their sicknesses :)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Haha. If i really was sharing it i would be giving it to every single one of you :)
