  1. I'll get back to you soon on that one.

Another thing you'd make really awesome is the poster design for next year's Diocesan Short Film Competition.

Even though you guys are all off to St. Mary's next year, the comp is open to every school and, Jeff, if you're listening, I DO EXPECT an entry from St. Mary's.

Its full title would be the 2010 Diocesan Short Film and Screenwriting Competition. It's a lot, I know. Next year I'm adding a screenplay component to the comp in which I hope to attract writers and creative people who wish to show off their skills, but don't have the means/money/desire to actually make a film.

There's no pressure, Alex. YOu don't have to make a poster, I'm not going to pester you about it, but it may provide a nice distraction for you these holidays. And artists DO need to hone their photoshop skills!

  2. Oh, if anyone else wishes to have a go too, be my guest!

A normal A4 size poster would be sufficient.

The design is totally up to you.

It should mention how conetestants are to make OR write a 4 minute short film.

I haven't come up with a keyword yet. Any ideas?

I'm also toying with the idea of TWO separate posters:
    1) Diocesan SHort Film Competition
    2) Diocesan Screenplay Competition

    Not sure yet.

You guys are welcome to throw ideas at my face.

  3. Doubt i'll be making film at St Marys next year, we only have half hour lunch and there is no where that is really isolated so i'm gunna hopefully just make em out of school and i'll make one for ya that way.

Also is it possible for you to put up the other entries to the dio comp this year? Either just on youtube and set em as private or something, i just wanna see what else was entered.
